04 toyota tacoma. check engine light is on. code p0500

I have an 04 toyota tacoma. check engine light is on. code p0500 . Replaced speed sensor . Light is still on and throwing the same code. I was told toyota uses 2 speed sensors, but mechanic could not find the other one.

There is 2 speed sensor one signal is sent from the transmission into the combination meter then to the ECM
