P1700 Wrong gear command

This is for a wrong gear command , Ford uses this code when doing a Key on engine running (KOER) test. This is a fault in the TR (transmission range) selector, this may be a transmission selector cable if the cable for the transmission selector is secured the transmission range selector is faulty.
