No engine light, but (1998 Mazda 626) car will bog down run like it's in water (with no way to acceleration)

Hi there,

Usually this indicates an issue with either the mass air flow sensor, or the catalytic converter being clogged up.You can also check the timing, as if it's out, the car will run like this,but normally the check engine light will come on with that.
