04 sxr with the p0008 code problem,engine is whining,wondering if anyone has experienced this

whining noise in engine with code p0008 on a 04 sxr,whats the diagnosis?

P0008 Engine position system performance (bank1)

For P0008 to occur this is a misalignment with the camsensor and the crank position sensor.the cause is the timing chain alignment, For the whinning noise the harmonic balancer has been revised that has cause this concern, Bulletin # 05-06-01-013C, titled Engine Whinning noise from front of the engine. If the crankshaft has been replaced it should have a 6 spoke design, if it has a 3 spoke design , a replacement is necessary.
