How can I fix this, what could be causing this?

Question

1998 dodge durango SLT/ 5.9 auto. w/136,000 miles. It ran good when it was parked. Now it at first would not start ie run. It ran 4- ten minutes then spit and sputtered like it was loading up. Now it fires up but only 4-a slit second.

P1282 Fuel pump relay control circuit

Some of the cause for this code condition are , PCM, Fuel pump relay, Fuse #9.The first inspection is the fuse in the engine fuse box, use the cover as a map and see if fuse number 9 is open. If the fuse is good swap out the fuel pump relay, If the vehicle still does not start properly the control circuit of the fuel pump relay will need to be tested, Which is part of the PCM.
