I recently purchased a neon from a family member in hard times. The car starts and runs but does not move when shifted out of park.. NONE of the gears work. I believe it did go into a limp mode before I got it, but that does not work either.
I hooked up the scanner and found a list of codes.
P0700 (twice)
P0731 (twice)
P0501 (twice)
P0841
P0846
P0715
P0720
P0740
I am somewhat mechanically inclined, and I would be able to r&r the tranny with a new or rebuilt, or replace parts on the "outside" of the tranny. I do not feel comfortable rebuilding the current one.

Any help, direction or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Brandon

P0700 Transmission control system Mil light requested

P0731 Gear ratio error in first

P0501 Vehicle speed performance

P0841 LR pressure switch sense circuit

P0846 -2 / 4 pressure switch sense circuit

P0715 Input speed sensor error

P0720 Output speed sensor error

P0740 TCC out of range

This is more than a transmission error, it is more of a problem with the TCM and the PCM, certain indication are that the PCM does not see input from the TCM . This is from either no to low fluid pressure, If the pressure is good, switch out the solenoid pack,
