Subaru Impreza with engine code P0032

Question

my Subaru Impreza outback wagon the engine light came on and it reads poo32 heated cicuit high output what part do I need to replace and how do I do it and about how much doesa it cost and do I need any special tools to do it? thanks for all the info

P0032 H02S heater control circuit high (bank 1 sensor 1 )

Bank 1 sensor 1 is upstream 02 sensor so this make it a engine management 02 sensor,Thie first is to inspect the harness, circuit high out mean its disconnected this can be internal of the 02 sensor itsef to the harness, If you decide to replace the 02 sensor what is required is a 02 socket and a good ratchet, disconnect the 02 sensor connection remove with the socket and install the new 02 sensor, reconnect the harness clear the code, Retest.The 02 is number 1 in diagram,
