How long should it take for the check engine service light to go off after replacing the thermostat. I got a code of P1126. I have a 1999 Nissan Altima

Vehicle: 1999 Nissan altma 2.4L

It wont go off by itself, You either have to disconnect the battery for at least 30min or use an OBD-II reader
