When I started driving my car it was idling real low and started shaking and puttering when I proceeded to step on the gas. Then my engine light came on. I found out it was a cylinder misfire, but have to find out what is causing this. Any suggestions of where to start?

Vehicle: 2007 Nissan Sentra

Misfire start by inspecting the sparkplug well if its filled with oil a valve cover will be needed, If good you need to inpect the sparkplug boot ,for any carbon track that may lead to a spark voltage seeking ground.
