problem in trnasmission. my mechanic says change computer of gear box. is he right

chenged the sensor three times and after two to three months same problem? a check engine sign appears and car become heavy in running then i stop and restart and then again works properly. when check engine there then after one to two days problem continues. codes appearing p0700 nad p0705

This is correct, Not only did the range sensor fail, but the ECM cannot read it anymore, the shutdown and restart and the sensor works properly is a good indication of a failed computer
