P0488 - does this code indicate serious damage

Does this code indicate damage to vehicle or damage being caused? Is it expensive to fix, and if so what price ranges should I be expecting/accepting from auto shops?

The 2006 nissan sentra does not use p0488 OBD-II code. Try to use a different OBD-II reader
