I just bought a 2009 Nissan Altima Hybrid with BOSE audio system CD changer. Every thing works fine except for the radio signal it is very poor, and would not get any stations using SCAN (Auto search), channels must be set manually and still with very poor signal. Tried to fix it by replacing the antenna itself but same result. I guess there is a problem with the connection. Can you help me Please?

Which antenna did you replaced? the antenna is printed on the rear glass. I suggest starting by checking the antenna amp. connection. The antenna amp is by the rear window.

Altima Hybrid has an antenna on the back end of the roof, about 15cm long that can be removed by unscrewing (bolt head), that one i replaced. Any way thanks a lot for your response, i managed to solve the problem by hints from Nissan, i found that this is a common problem in 2009 model. The solution for those who face the same problem is to remove the front passenger side pillar cover ( the one next to the front glass), underneath it you will find a connector at the bottom. Connector pins are not in place (backed up) and need to be pushed forward. To be honest i couldn't push them despite all the effort, i finally managed to put a needle pin (part of it) and reattach the connector and problem solved thanks a lot.
