I got a 2002 Chevy 2500HD 6000 engine. I get a po300 code random misfire . the engine light goes on when the engine runs @ 2300rpm and it sometimes seems that it has a lack of power, what could be the problem . I changed spark plugs and cable and the catalytic converter and still get that happens what could it be

You can check for intake leaks, check to ignition coil to see if one or more is not firing, you can also have a bad or clogged fuel injector you can do a fuel injector flush or use a fuel system cleaner.

possible causes:

- Faulty spark plug (s) 
- Faulty ignition coil (s) 
- Clogged or faulty fuel injector (s)
- Intake air leak
- Fuel injectors harness is open or shorted
- Fuel Injectors circuit poor electrical connection
- Ignition coils harness is open or shorted
- Ignition coils circuit poor electrical connection
- Insufficient cylinders compression
- Incorrect fuel pressure
