I have a 1996 jeep cherokee classic with the inline 6 cyl engine. When I start it for the first time of the day it starts and runs perfect. When I drive it awhile and shut it off it will not start until I let the engine cool down. It is not running hot when I shut the engine off. The only code I get is P0118 engine coolant temp circuit high temp. If this is a sensor can you tell me where it is located on this model? Thank You.

If the engine is not overheating and no coolant leaks are found, then the P0118 code problem is more than likely the sensor. The sensor is on the front of the engine.
