I have a 2004 nissan titan i cant get communication with abs module.

I cant get communication with ABS to pull the codes. Abs light is on. Body control module has code U1000. Also the instrument cluster speedometer does not work and im suspecting its all the same problem. I already changed ABS Module and checked CAN COMM wiring for shorts or an open but everything tested ok. Any advice on this problem?
