2004 Volkswagen Touareg 3.2L with engine code P0692

Question

I washed the engine I used a blower to dry it off before starting, after a drove for half hour the p0692 came on and the main fan runs at high speed no stop even when the car is off for about 15. Minutes
Any ideas of what to check ?

Same error. VW Touran 2009.

Fan stops after 5 minutes.

Where is the cause? In the fan?
