can I go to my nearest chevy dealer to have the anti-theft re-set for my radio?

My granddaughter's dad had removed the factory radio while he owned the vehicle. When I took over the car I asked him to put the radio back in. to make a long story short...the radio is put back together (wires are attached correctly). Everything works, but I have no sound. Thinking that it needs to be re-set.

Does the radio as for the radio code? If everything work and no sound , there is no reset you need to recheck for speaker connections
