VW Jetta came up with P0030

Question

Car is dead! the electric is being drained off and the only code that comes up is P0030. Replaced the battery and the alternator but something is still draining off the battery which is keeping the car from running.

P0030 - Heated oxygen sensor heater control circuit bank 1 sensor 1

This is for the 02 sensor, When you turn the key off  the circuit turns off, and this is not capable of draining your battery, You replaced the alternator? Some VW are known for not charging at certain temperature and this applies to 90 amp alternator, The solution was a replacement alternator that VW has issued, there is a TSB group 27 number 06 -01
