I have a 1995 Ford Ranger it dies at a idle my obd2 reader says PO174 system to lean bank 2 where do I go from here

It means that during the engine combustion there is more air than fuel. Usually the code is triggered when there is an intake leak or the O2 sensor is not reading properly, and in some cases when the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor is faulty. If the engine is dying then more than likely there is a problem with an intake leak or the MAF. O2 sensor usually won't cause the engine to die.
