I have a used 2004 Honda Pilot that I bought from a friend resently. The Check engine light never goes out. I've been to 2 dealers & 2 independant mechanics that have all tested the individual parts throughout the system and performed a smoke test. Everything comes back ok. The actual emissions output from the vehicle passes smog perfectly. But, the engine light trips everytime, shortly after being reset. Any ideas?

P01457 EVAP control system leakage (EVAP canister system)

There is a TSB dealing with EVAP leak, Number SN040902 , date 09/01/2004 , This deals with a EVAP system purge hose between the purge valve and the sevice port on the engine compartment being twisted and getting blockedmor restriced,The fix is to untwist it and straighten out the hose.,Other than that if anyone wants to find this system leak data stream needs to be used,,not smoke test,
