No you can't have all eight coil bad, unless there is a aftermarket alarm that interrupts the ignition feed circuit, you can have one misfire and due to the induction system can cause fuel to air ratio unbalanced, for a particular cylinder and that would cause another cylinder to misfire and affect another cylinder, certain scan tool have software that can communicate with the vehicles ECM software if you don't have it you have to approach a different way, a CKP  ( coil on plug) ignition analyzer, disable a coil at a time and noting the RPM drop,or just clear the code , the cylinder that sets first is usually the cause
