-I check the code and receive a p0018, I checked what that meant and it says that either its
-dirty oil( which has been changed)
- Engine mechanical problems ( runs fine)
- Faulty camshaft position sensor
- Faulty crankshaft position sensor
- Timing belt jumped

I'm just curious what of these is most likely the problem

Vehicle: 2004 Volkswagen R32 3.2L 6 Cyl

P0018 Crankishaft position/camshaft position bank 2 sensor b- correlation

This is more likely  mechanical,The VW has known problem with VAG  1347 / 17755  Bank 2 crankshaft ,camshaft postion sensor out of sequence, where the timing chain tends to get elongated.
