Changed IAC and still get code P0508

Question

I have changed both the IAC and Camshaft Position Sensors, but I am still getting the Code 0508. Car started fine this morning and ran good untill a pop was heard and car stalled. CEL came on and registered Code P0508. Car will not hold idle and stalls repeatedly.

Hi there

Sometimes this code is the result of another problem with the car that is causing the bad idle. In your case, I would check for loose vacuum lines or a vacuum leak that might cause the problem.
