The truck stuck in 2nd gear code and I got the code P2761 could this be caused by a corroded ground strap?

P0758 Opn or short in the 2-3 shift solenoid (SS) control circuit

Yes it can, The ECM looks for open shorts and ground, and rationality,What you can have is a open, This can be caused by a fuse that has open and ther is no power to the solenoid and yes a insuffiecient ground.In the engine fuse box (use the cover for a map) there is the ING fuse replace if open
