The transmission was not shifting correctly took to the dealer who read this code. They then said there is a "dent" in my transmission pan and that is what is causing this problem. They will not warranty it. Seems like one does not go with the other. Could replacing the Transmission pan correct this?

its possible, the bent pan could be blocking something in the valve body or it damaged the valve body.

this would have caused immediate problems, They say pan has been dented (by appearance) well over 2 years ago.2 other mechanics say transmission is done--think Nissan looking for any reason not to warranty it!!
