I'm throwing a P0724 error on my Toyota Highlander 2008. I see it says it's a Brake Switch issue. When I drive my brake lights are still functioning. Does this mean the switch is not faulty and I have another issue?

P0724 Automatic transaxle system Brake switch "B" circuit high,

Not only does this signal the brake light but it also TCC (transmission clutch circuit) lock up, The brake light switch circuit goes to the stop lamps and also another circuit goes to the ECM to cancel TCC.Keep your finger crossed that this is more likey a fault y brake light switch,
