Can the change of brake bulbs to LED bulbs be a reason for a P0724 Error on a Toyota Corolla 2013?

Check engine light is on and error code P0724 is recorded (Brake Switch 'B' Circuit High).
The stop light (at the rear windshield) is operating when turning on the gauges lights (at night) and light increases just like brake side lights when pressing brake.

Note: Side brake light bulbs were changed to LED bulbs.

Vehicle: 2013, Toyota, Corolla, 1.6 L

HI there

If you didn't use a resistor with the brake light bulbs it is possible this is causing the code and the brake lights to not work. The led bulbs use so much less power they cause issues with the battery voltage. It's to high and needs to be toned down. Most of the time the bulbs come with the resistors in them, but if not then they can be preventing the lights from working and causing the code.
