Can automatic transmission of a Nissan Frontier 4.0 2011 model cause p2123/p2138 DTCs?

Both codes are for the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor, you should start by inspecting the sensor. The sensor is attached to the accelerator pedal. It's more than likely that the transmission is no the caused of the codes.
