Actually there is no MAP sensor in 2006 Ford Explorer. The P0108 code means that the Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure signal received by the Engine Control Module (ECM) is out of specs, but the ECM uses the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor to determine the pressure. In a few words, the faulty component for your problem is probably the MAF.
