P0011 code-will adding oil temp. correct issues?

Question

I know the oil is low and also dirty. Was planning an oil change for next week when the P0011 code occurred and also the vehicle is shuddering and or stalling when at idle. If I add some oil to the vehicle will this correct the symptoms until I can get it to the dealership on Monday to fully flush and change the oil?

The oil condition and level  plays a major role with this sensor,with the condition of the the oil and the level.Adding and changing the oil may improve the condition, There is a saying, that does apply to you, "Oil is cheap insurance"

Thanks for your answer! When I first checked the oil it was about 1/2 hour after driving it. It showed at the first line before the crosshatch area. I've since let it sit for several hours and rechecked it. It now shows full however it is still pretty dirty...very dark brown but not black. So I guess adding any oil is now a non-issue and may just be the need for fresh, clean oil. I understand also from reading about the code that it could be a couple of other things causing the problem. I'll know for sure Monday! Thanks again!
