I got the engine code P0356 on my 2001 Ford Taurus 3.0L DOHC, what is the problem?

Hi there,

This code is for a primary ignition coil failure on cylinder #6. Typically the problem is the actual ignition coil. You can swap it with the one next to it and see if the misfire moves with it for testing. If it does, replace the coil. #6 is the one in the front of the engine all the way to the right if you are looking at the engine from under the hood.
