If I loss on up distributor an move a little bit towards the back of the block the code goes away then comes back this is on a 5.7 liter

Your out of adjustment. If you removed the distributor out, the rotor is now out of place,  This will set the code.If you did not remove the distributor , The camshaft will need to be replace, This means the whole distributor.

so if I did remove the distributor and the rotor is out of place how or what do I need to do in order to put it back in the proper place
