I have the engine code P1000 on my Jaguar XK8

Question

I have a P1000 code, the battery hghas not been disconnected for the last 2000 miles, I have driven in the city and highway, but the fault code or engine light will not go off. Any ideas?

This is not a fault code a a readiness code,. To get the system readiness you need more than 1/4 fuel in the tank You will also need to check for pending codes ,P1000 identifies incomplete, and they are the catalyst, the EVAP, the 02 sensor,
