is there a way to test an o2 sensor? besides an oscilloscope

The Honda HX  has a LAF (lean air/fuel sensor) you dont use a labscope you use a voltmeter and you do a voltage test and a quick test,you also test the heater sensor test and a resistance test, The LAF measure oxygen in the exhaust and outputs a different voltage on the lean and rich signal,Under a lean condition the LAF outputs a higher voltage,and lower under a rich condition.The voltage changes are in the milivolts range.Then there is the heater circuit which   is duty cycled controlledby the ECM.
