06 chevy 0449 code

Question

i have replaced vent solenoid 4 times since truck was new . what are the ohms supposed to be?
the last updated sol. is installed on the truck How can i effectively cure this problem or abort this system without light coming on every year also is this sol. normally closed or open?

P0449 EVAP canister vent solenoid.

The ECM grounds the EVAP vent solenoid valve control circuit  to close the valve by means of a internal switch called a driver. This vent is normally open by being so it control airflow into the EVAP cansiter,and closes the valve during EVAP.Key on engine running, (if its not running a EVAP) you should have 12 volts on both wireson EVAP vent solenoid. The resistance of the solenoid should be  25ohms to 30 ohms.
