Hello,

I changed transmission fluid recently, and I am having problems. I noticed some problems when I shift from one level to another; also, yesterday, on highway, I could not increase my speed over 50 mph on the slightly steep heels. I know when I changed the fluid I did everything correct, and my transmission was working perfectly before. All the problems appeared after having changed the fluid. By the way, I used "Castrol 06822 Transmax Dexron VI Automatic Transmission Fluid" because the salesperson recommended it. My camry needs 2.6 quarters of fluid, and I measured how much fluid I drained, it was 3 quarters. But first, I refilled 2.6 quarters, then checked the level on the dipstick. But it was low, so I added 0.4 quarters. Then I drove one day and check the level again, but it was low. Then my friend suggested to add a little bit, so I added more. Now the level is ok. But, I still have problems and dont know what to do, Maybe I used wrong fluid, and should I change the fluid? Also, when I accelerate the tachometer goes till 3.3 to change to the second speed. It was not like that before, Please help me to figure out what is going on cuz nobody knows what is happening?

THanks in advance!

Castro 06822 Dextron VI is compatible but this is a sythetic transmission fluid,Drain the fluid out and replace with convetional transmission fluid, dextron 2 or 3, Your transmission is to worn out for this fluid.
