Disconnected the battery? When you do this you reset the monitor, and you have to start all over, Doing the monitor should be done within 12 minutes (so they say). Here is what works for me on Ford and other vehicle, you need 1/2 tank of fuel (This is for the EVAP monitor),From a cold start to a warm up engine driven a certain way is 1 trip. And you will need 2 trip cycles. start engine let idle for 2 minutes, cruise the vehicle no more than 40mph for 4 minutes,Take the vehicle fron 40mph to 60 mph for 10 minutes (this set the heated 02 monitors)let it coast down to 40 MPH.Now to set the catalytic monitor,go into stop and go traffic, accelerate as usual and without going over 55mph (if posible this set the catalytic monitor)do this for 12 minutes. Now to set the EGR this is the most difficult one and stubborn,Once this set your home free, drive 45mph for 10 minutes 1/2 throttle to 3/4 throttle, now your done this is the first trip you are suppose to let it sit 8 hours, well 3 hours is good enough, do this all over again.and that will be the second trip, Let me know how it turns out
