C1145 - i have replaced with new sensor and i still have the abs light on with sensor code c1145

do i have to clear the fault to reset or some other thing is the problem

You have to clear the code to reset,or drive it, if a fault is not present the light will reset, but in your case if the light does not clear, this may be the toner the toner is what the ABS sensor reads wheel speed off of
