P1747 Pressure control solenoid "A" short circuit. On a Ford this code refers to EPC solenoid (Electrical pressure control) short circuit. If you have no EPC you will have no second gear and no fourth gear,you will slip in first  and third. The EPC is located in the transmission valve body
