What causes the B1000 code on my 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe 4x4 5.3L?

I have a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe 4x4 5.3L and the OBD2 code B1000 came up. What is wrong and possible solution?

B1000 Electronic control unit (ECU) performance.

When this code sets the control module request the (MIL) malfunction indicator light to set.This code maybe a history code without affecting the operation of the module.If you clear this code and it returns as a present and a history code,replace the module that set this DTC.
