i have a 1996 F150. Getting a P1400 code.

Question

I have a 1996 Ford F150 5.0 V8 that is running a little rough. Idles fine, but under load and high speed sounds like it's misfiring. I'm getting a P1400 error code. Any suggestions. Tom

P1400 this is the pressure differntial sensor,this is need for EGR operation,but you stated you hear a high speed sound under load,that tells me that the hose that connects to the pressure differtial sensor has fallen off,your solution when temperature of the engine is cool to touch with engine off is to put the hose back on
