On my 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8L, can an exhaust leak set check engine light on with P1273 code stored?

Normally this code is caused by a faulty front A/F sensor. The exhaust leak would have to be ahead of the front sensor to cause a lean code. This can also be caused by and unmetered air leak past the mass air flow sensor
