need answers for a diagnostic code

took car to a shop today and they did a diagnostic test on it and said that a 1441 code came up. and that they dont know what it means and that they cant help me. they said it has to do with the emissions on the car, which i have no clue what that means so i was wanting to know if you all could possibly tell me what it means. its for a 1996 chevy lumina.. 3.1 liter engine
