Setting A C code and getting different anaswers on what it is one book says BPP another stability control

C0283 Mode switch circuit malfunction

C0455 Front steering position sensor circuit

C0283 is for the ABS system where the EBCM(electronic brake control module) detects a low voltage with the traction control switch signal.In seeing this condition the ECBM disables the VSES. (vehicle stability enhance system) . Be prepared that this code is more than likely will be with the EBCM.
