The upstream O2 sensor I have only replaced, less than 6 months ago.

Another mechanic advised against the Bosch upstream O2 sensor, saying it is meant to be used on German cars. In its replacement I've got a NTK sensor, hoping it will better fit this car..

Vehicle: 05, Nissan, Altima, 2.5Litres

Hi there,

The problem with this code is if you don't reset the fuel trim after installing the new sensor, eventually it will kick this code again. It's part of the long term fuel trim learning which is what takes it so long to reappear. You need a scan tool to reset the fuel trim or disconnect the battery for 4-5 hours.
