2008 elantra obd2 760 & 743. Trans slips. Fluid clean and in designated “ full” marks. Owner states “friend shorted rear light trying to make light work after wreck” after replacing the fuse he found that the neutral lock switch doesnt work. He unlocks shifter manually for driving. Is it possible the neutral lock switch on the brake pedal causes 760&743 codes????
-
Unfortunately, I can't find any relation between the Shift Control Solenoid (P0760) and the Damper (Torque Converter) Clutch Circuit, and the Neutral Lock Switch.
The Stop Lamp Switch and the Taillights are connected to the Transmission Control Module, which also controls all the transmission solenoids.
I suggest checking the taillights and the stop light switch on the brake pedal.
