2000 ford ranger code p0743

hello i have a 2000 ford ranger did some welding on on the on the frame i took of the positive cable not knowing i should have taken of the ground now the truck wont start put on device to read trouble code p0743 came up will this cause the truck not to start thanks boyd

A problem that is triggering the P0743 code shouldn't cause the engine not to start. You may have another problem. If the problem happens after you did some welding, you should check for blown fuses.
