01 F250 superduty, 7.3L diesel. DTC codes are p0122 & p0221, service engine light comes on and no throttle response.

Question

Problem is intermittent, usually when accelerating from a stop but occasionally at speed when shifting gears ( 6spd manual ).

Most of the time (95%) service engine light comes on, but there are rare occasions when sevice engine light does not.

Do I replace just the sensor ($50 +/-)or the whole pedal assembly ($200 ) ?

Or is there a deeper issue?
