P0130 SUBARU -

Question

1995 2.2 legacy, just had a new clutch installed & rear main seal installed, and CEL came on throwing 0130 code - #1 O2 sensor. The shop said they had to remove the exhaust to perform the clutch install; is it possible they did not tighten the exhaust firmly enough and now there's excess oxygen in the exhaust causing the 0130 code and the CEL to illuminate?

It's possible that they just forgot to connect the sensor or the connector was not properly connected. Also, it possible that they damage the sensor when the exhaust was removed.
