p1129 code 1997 honda civic lx

hi my name is robert ,i have a 97 honda civic lx stock motor my check engine light came on so i checked the code with my obd2 it came up a p1129 map sensor higher than expected,what could cause this.

Typically there are only acouple of causes for this code.First a bad map sensor could give it the wrong reading, second a blocked or plugged exhaust system can cause higher then normal manifold pressure.
